Delays in PR Card Renewals

Greetings,

I would like to share my PR card renewal timelines:

PR Card renewal- application received: Nov 4, 2013
PR Card renewal- started processing the application: Dec 6, 2013
CIC Processing time - 89 (as of today) and assessing applications received by Jan 2014

As of today, I heard/received nothing from CIC and my application still displays 'in process' with no further updates.

I meet the residency obligations and wonder if the above timelines are still realistic?

It is realistic I will give you the heads up with my time line

Applied September 9 2013
In Process October 27 2013
and application was approved on March 12 2014.
Waited for longest almost 6 months from the date of application.

I would say wait for at least a months you will get a result.

I notice that applications submitted by the beginning of the year go through a faster process than applications submitted by the end of the year (Oct onwards)
