Hi, if someone can respond from previous experience or can refer to a thread where I might find a response.

When I applied to come to Canada back in 2021, and did the medical exam, I was asked to undergo additional tests then like CT, sputum etc. and eventually I was told it is inactive but the doctor still recommended to go on medications, and I did for 6 months and and after a year of this I was got a clearance on my medical saying medical passed and I got my study visa.
But I received a letter then saying I would need to get medical surveillance done once I land in Canada and I did do it and went for an X ray as well.

Now I applied for Permanent residency recently, and I received medical request.

I am scared as to what to tell the panel physician here ?
Should I disclose all this during my exam? Will this be a barrier in my exam PR? Anyone who has experience with this- had any history when applying for study permit and now applied for PR?

thanks!

I don't think it will be a barrier as I know someone close with a very similar situation as yours. When they were asked to do another medical for the PR application, they didn't disclose previous results. (If you choose to disclose, I don't think it will be a problem either.) The second medical exam passed without any problem. But even if it shows something, it's most likely not gonna affect your PR decision.

You are required to advise them and it is in your IRCC records already. This should not be an issue.
