I see last post on this thread is more than a year old. Anyone recently used AVR option to comeback on expired stamp(in passport) but having valid i797 and attached i94?

Many people have been doing that. I have done that last 1n half yrs .

Is there any issue taking a friend's car to do the soft landing at the border ? Will it create any issues ?
