getting laid off from job will not effect your application / pr in process.
incase your current visa is expiring and you have to leave canada, just update CIC with your new residence and correspondence address and they will issue you PR upon completion of the processing.

if you already got nominated for BC PNP, and after that you already submitted your application to CIC, then they will not ask for any ongoing job letter.
I am sure about it. You can even check CIC website ;)

However, I am assuming that you already have got BC nominee, and submitted your application to CIC for the PR.

I read couple posts about it , people had to send them on going job letter . on pnp website it says During pr process we have to work at the same company that we have applied through , are you sure about that?
