Hi everyone!

I'm just curious here, I'm a Canadian PR and I recently got married to someone who doesn't live in Canada. I was thinking of getting her to apply for a student visa (she wants to get her masters anyway and she's eyeing MUN so international student fees aren't as expensive), and just sponsoring her inland for a spousal visa.

Has anyone gone this route? Do you think it would work?

Thanks!

It's generally harder to get a study permit approved if your spouse is Canadian - but it's certainly possible and worth trying. If she is going for a master's in Canada, that should increase the chances of approval.
