@lilmsfoodie, I got a ghost update on the tracker today (Nov 6), did you also get it? Last time we got it on the same day on Oct 17.
I read somewhere that the GU on the tracker is when the tracker was updated with your data from other systems. It does not mean that someone worked on your case.@lilmsfoodie, I got a ghost update on the tracker today (Nov 6), did you also get it? Last time we got it on the same day on Oct 17.
Yes, I know, see my earlier post:I read somewhere that the GU on the tracker is when the tracker was updated with your data from other systems. It does not mean that someone worked on your case.
Sometimes it means nothing, just an automatic system refresh, but other times it does mean someone opened the file.Found this post on IRCC Twitter/X:So a GU on the tracker might not mean anything. The “updated” date refers to the date when data from IRCC’s system was last refreshed and reflected in the tracker. It does not necessarily mean that your file has been updated on this date.
No, I don't think having an existing PR Portal account may delay portal 2. If anything, the ircc offices are really slow. I also have an existing PR Portal account when I replied to the portal 1 email. Although I did send another email telling them that I have an existing portal account already.
Oct 5 - Portal 1
replied same day
Oct 13 - sent another reply informing them that I have an existing PR portal account
Oct 17 -Portal 2
waiting for ECOPR
VO Montreal
No. =( Hopefully yours is now a real one you get a good news soon. Didn't think that waiting for an eCOPR could take this long.@lilmsfoodie, I got a ghost update on the tracker today (Nov 6), did you also get it? Last time we got it on the same day on Oct 17.
It's not recommended. But if you must, you can. Reply to the portal 1 email again mentioning the date you're leaving and the date you'll be back. This will delay your eCOPR further.Urgent! Can I leave Canada while I'm waiting for my eCOPR?
Yes Montreal is notoriously slowi just called IRCC and the guys said that I can take months to receive the phase 2
How do I know which office the process is?Yes Montreal is notoriously slow
Etobicoke is usually pretty fast but off late they seem to have been bitten by the inspiration bug and dead slow
If you have received P1 that should tell you which officeHow do I know which office the process is?
Yes, I did got access to https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login .And today the "Review of additional documents" status in the GCkey has been updated from Not Applicable to "Do you have access to the tracker? Not that the tracker is precise, but it gives you a better ideia of what’s going on. Because GCKey only updates after you get approved (receives your eCOPR). Until then the only thing that’s going to change is a message status saying that a final decision changed and the date that happened.
If you have received P1 that should tell you which office
What is the email ID from which you received P1 ?
