If any money was exchanged for the LMIA then it's illegal. Employers cannot charge foreign worker anything for the LMIA. Many greedy and unscrupulous employers has been charging thousands of dollars for it. Of course it has come to the attention of the government and they inevitably will track down the perps.
Oh wow, I didn't even know you could buy LMIA, I thought it could be issued only if you are employed with the company for a year or so

Hence, IRCC is breaking it down and already removed the 50 points starting spring. Now, no more fraudsters will be able to game the system. This will certainly make things better for the genuine applicants!
2015 its 600 point haha!

Some Fake job, fake LMIA are horrible!they made hiring require design for a special man that nobody could be hiring from jobbank…then employer charge buyer 40k even 100k!
One of them tried to sell to me. I saw them saying they could help with LMIA and asked what was the procedure (this was after I got my PR), They said it would cost me $28,000 USD, not even Canadian $$ It made me wonder if even people outside of Canada were running the scam.

Well, the actual source are from real people who has been sharing their issues with snapshots of the communication they had with their MPs and IRCC. You're not seeing the "Great Pyramid Of Giza" right now, so, that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist! Out of hundreds and thousands of applications, I've just seen these 7 in other social platforms. Not spreading any rumors, nor trying to create any panic but staying in denial is not the solution! IRCC indeed verifies everything one last time (especially LMIA at this point) under a microscope before they go ahead and issue the eCoPR.
I am active on all social media platforms and on many WA groups buddy.

There was a case where application went back to BG check and that was Parents and GP stream.

2nd case was that the person received P2 and after a month on GCKey he had a FD again.

Yes, outland PNP applicants had some issues, their COPRs were cancelled but it's not a new story.

Yes, IRCC has issued PFLs to people who already got their PR due to providing fake documents!

You are talking about 7 cases going back to BG check/eligibility after receiving P2 and they all had LMIA. So far I haven't missed any post anywhere but, as you say that people are sharing with snapshots then why bother sharing links to those posts. We want to verify your post. That't it.

And FYI I've been to Egypt and seen The Great Piramid of Giza! Don't bring BS into a discussion please. All I am asking from you is the source to prove that your post is genuine.

Good to know that you have seen the Great "Pyramid" mate! But I am not gonna even bother asking for a picture, cause I could care less. I already said that I came across this info from multiple platforms. I'm sharing this info with everyone here so that people are aware. However, you don't expect me to actually track down these 7 applicants for your peace of mind. If you don't want to believe it, then sure take it as a rumor and move on! I am here to help others but that doesn't mean that I am here to entertain your BS!

Hello everyone,

I just got to know from a very credible source that IRCC has re-opened the eligibility and background of 7 applicants even after they received P2 back in early October. Some even contacted their MPs and they were advised that their paperwork are currently being reviewed on the basis of employment and job duties confirmation. All of their eCoPR document numbers with the expiry date have been removed from their trackers respectively. All had one single common factor, i.e., every 7 of these applicants had positive LMIA for which they claimed 50 points as well!

In my personal opinion, this tend to point towards that they do check and verify even after P2 one last time to make sure that everything is legit and in proper order. Hence, the delay from P2 to eCoPR!
how about genuine LMIA applicants? Probably big part of LMIA ppl are genuine. I have been working for my current company for 2 years and got LMIA through company lawyer. Do you think they only investigate the suspicious LMIA people or all of them?
I received P2 on Dec 23 and I still see the document number and expiry date of my ecopr (says ‘COPR expiry date’ on website) on tracker website

please feel free to share more info about those 7 applicants if u know or get update.

Well, you're not helping anyone by these posts. A real help would be to share actual links to those posts (if they even exist!).

Anyways your response is enough to prove that you're spreading rumours. Stop posting crap and creating chaos! Get a real job! ✌

Friend of mine got P1 yesterday and P2 today, same stream as mine, same ITA date, seems like they are giving priority to providing more P1s and P2s instead of clearing eCOPR queue. Great. I can take my vacation plans and shove it deep into my…

I will share if I do come across any more update. As long as your LMIA is genuine, you shouldn't worry! All the best!
