I swear - if it wasnt for folks like @Hyper1013 , @Aizique and others - we would all be in deep depression
If you have a visa and your stay is going to be brief then you can visit. But if you are staying long, you may need to contact IRCC so that the cancel your eCOPR and send you a visa to return. With that you can get your COPR at the border. However, if you have waited up to this stage, then I think you should just complete it and get all you need so that can travel with peace of mind. Remember that it will take more time to reroute your application. Can you help me that while waiting for the ECOPR can we leave canada and visit our country??
Still here bro! Not going anywhere till everyone of you get your eCoPRs. As I've said before : All for one and one for all! Praying that there's a flood of eCoPRs today!I swear - if it wasnt for folks like @Hyper1013 , @Aizique and others - we would all be in deep depression
Thank you very much for this update. Much appreciated you !!!as long as you have a WP and Canadian Visa you can leave and come back anytime you want, although IRCC asks people to let them know if you are going to leave Canada so they can put your ECOPR on pause and that's the last thing you want to happen so unless it is an emergency I would suggest you to stay inside Canada until you get your ECOPR and if possible wait until PR Card because if you leave with only ECOPR then you will need to apply for PRTD outside Canada and that too takes 2-3 months to arrive.

Mighty? Not sure about that! HahaWhat else did you do after eCoPR? I finally got it yesterday. I did some research and today I’ll update my SIN number, my driver’s license, banking information. What else do I have to update mighty Hyper?

Exactly what I explained in my submission. Thank you for reinforcing. You should be in Canada at the time of eCoPR issuance. If you want to leave, you need to inform IRCC and they will hold (and delay) your eCoPR till you get back. If you're not going to come back soon or if you're not allowed to enter at the border, you'll need to inform IRCC and they will change from online landing to PPR process which of course will delay the process even more.
If you want to leave and return before eCoPR is issued, you can certainly take that risk.
This information is verified via IRCC call center and my immigration lawyer. I am in the same boat and am forced to cancel my flight and apply for a visitor record because my eCoPR is delayed.
All the above mentioned is correct! Adding to this : You can only travel with your eCoPR via U.S.A. land border in a non-commercial private vehicle. That is the only time you can travel without your PR card. You should be in Canada at the time of eCoPR issuance.
