The funny thing is that when I look at the tracker, I have an eCOPR document number and expiry date. So I know that it will definitely come before the expiration date but the question remains how soon?
Can you help me that while waiting for the ECOPR can we leave canada and visit our country??

The people who are going to get P1's starting January are going to be very lucky ones as they won't have to wait for the holiday season to go by, for them I would assume it would take less than 3 months from P1 to ECOPR but for people who got P1 in Oct, Nov it's gonna be like 4 to 5 months at least from P1 Date to ECOPR because IRCC barely do any work in December.

True and this should be proof enough that everyone will get their ECOPR, no point in worrying if we will get ECOPR or not, we all became Permanent Residents the moment IRCC sent us P1 now all we need is an electronic document called ECOPR to prove to others that we indeed are Permanent Residents. At this point it's all about being patient, no point in contacting IRCC about anything after P2 unless you have been waiting for COPR for more than 3 months since P2.
Exactly!!!
I will only become worried when 3 months have passed after response to P2.
Like in my situation, I know it will com before July 6 which is the expiration date for my eCOPR based on the tracker.

True . Unlucky ones are from Oct p1 and Nov p1. They had to cross the holiday season without any updates.

as long as you have a WP and Canadian Visa you can leave and come back anytime you want, although IRCC asks people to let them know if you are going to leave Canada so they can put your ECOPR on pause and that's the last thing you want to happen so unless it is an emergency I would suggest you to stay inside Canada until you get your ECOPR and if possible wait until PR Card because if you leave with only ECOPR then you will need to apply for PRTD outside Canada and that too takes 2-3 months to arrive.

The truth is that, at this stage no one fully understand how this is issued. So don't be surprised.

I contacted the CRA this morning, and they advised me to wait until my current login linked to the old SIN is deactivated. After that, I can register again with my new SIN and start using the CRA online portal.
They also mentioned that they are not involved in this process.
Does that mean we don't need to call them separately to update our SIN? So, all we gotta do is wait for the old one to be deactivated and then we can create a new one using our new SIN?

Got no clue because I used a representative. Got my eCoPR on January 06. Someone from Montreal got their PR card yesterday with the same dated eCoPR!
I think you mentioned that they have approved your address in the portal and not your photo? If that's the case then you will receive it in under 3 weeks just like mine.

Yeap, just got off the phone with a CRA agent. Told me the same. Service Canada will transmit the data over to them once a week. To know that your SIN is transferedr, use your OLD SIN to log in, if it doesnt let you then you can create a new CRA account using the NEW SIN.

I logged into my CRA acocunt using my old SIN and still works, meaning Service Canada has yet to transfer it. I'll probably give it until next week to try again.

Yes, my address was approved. Declaration is still showing as Submitted and Photo is In Review. If they accepted our address, does that mean that our photo was also approved because I didn't get any emails after our eCoPR? Or does someone else checks the photo and then send the email separately? Also, when your PR card was approved/mailed, did you receive any emails? Hoping I receive it soon! Fingers Crossed!

your declaration will remain submitted and since they have approved your address I am pretty sure that they have prepared your PR Card and mailed it to your address already and regarding the Photo, bro I received my Card almost 2.5 months ago and they are still reviewing my Picture, seems like have never seen an alien like me :p I hope they at least approve my photo before the end of 2025. Regarding emails nope they don't send you any emails after ECOPR although I think you can check if your PR Card is mailed or not in GCKey, in my case my representative submitted my application through his GCKey so he only had access to it.
