I understand how you feel; I’m in the same situation, waiting just like you. I don’t think IRCC prioritizes applications based on family ties, CEC, work permit/visitor status, or the number of applications submitted. It seems they allocate profiles to specific teams based on the stream or type, and approvals depend on each team’s working style. Unfortunately, it’s possible that our profile ended up with a slower-moving team - who knows? Why these big, fat families with dependants and spouse getting eCOPR quicker than single applicants. It doesn’t make any sense. If family reunification is a priority, then even my whole family is here. They are all citizens. I need my eCOPR too. I've been through the mill and I can’t take it anymore
You guys are in for a longggggggggggggggg wait. Sit tight!Same timeline, but FD showd November 6, 2024
Same 72 days, 18 days for me to send email. So annoyingI understand how you feel; I’m in the same situation, waiting just like you. The good news is that after 90 days from receiving P2, we can contact IRCC. They’ll send a note to the visa office, potentially prompting them to review our profile, which could lead to us receiving our eCoPR. I’ve been waiting for 72 days so far, so I have just 18 days left before I can take that step.
Did this work for anyone post 90 days ? My friend gave them a call yesterday as his 90 days from p2 crossed on 6th Jan and got same old response of "nothing to be done from your end, except wait."I understand how you feel; I’m in the same situation, waiting just like you. Thank you so much and all the best with your applicationI'm a visitor right now and waiting for my eCOPR. P2 was on Dec 3.
My visitor status expires on January 10, so I'm going to file my visitor record application tomorrow.
You cannot work until you get your eCOPR. While you can start working on your old SIN (if it exists), you will need to submit your new SIN as soon as you get it. Both SINs are linked to your profile.
Yes I can feel the wait , I think for us the waiting game started since Late March when we received the PNP on March . So, we are one step behind the final thing now.I understand how you feel; I’m in the same situation, waiting just like you. For me PNP took a long time took 3 months to get invite then 8 months for approval, IRCC has been a lot quicker in that regard took less than 6 months from AOR to PR Card.Yes I can feel the wait , I think for us the waiting game started since Late March when we received the PNP on March . The worst part is where a rude agent picks up and acts as if we bothered them on a stat holiday! Gotta love the bat-shit bureaucracy!3 months wait for them to reach out to the VO that has our file is absurd...
Lmao, I hate those, as if we are taking a limb from them. The worst part is where a rude agent picks up and acts as if we bothered them on a stat holiday! Gotta love the bat-shit bureaucracy!
I'd probably have better luck winning my 50/50 for Wriostheley, if he ever reruns, before I get my eCoPR. (iykyk).COPR IS looks like 2 million lotto nowadays
