PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

That's a long wait.... I see everyone receiving in less than 5 days. You live in GTA right?
Finally some good news

PR card application approved and mailed (GU2) Aug 26
Let's see how long it takes to deliver the cards in the post box!
We are a family of 4. Three of our applications are on my profile and are updated at the same time.
COPR - March 12, 2021
COPR received by email - March 23
photos delivered (tracking) - March 26
GU 1 - August 19
GU 2 - August 26 (went back to Approved (and cards mailed)
email: "Your application has been updated" - August 27
will update you when we receive all the cards! Meanwhile we moved to another address, so ... fingers crossed!!! Good luck to all of us!

yes, I live in GTA. I do not know whats ahappening. I noticed etobicoke office is slower in processing PR cards. Everbody in my circle received PR cards from ottawa office in 1 or 2 days after approval. Finally, I received it. My journey is over. Hope everybody receive their PR cards ASAP.

Photos Sent: March 20
Photos Received: March 22 (I threw out the receipt as soon as tracking said "delivered", in retrospect a bad choice but at least I know it was delivered)
No access to CIC account as I applied through a representative. Reached out to them and asked if they could try linking the application to the account, we'll see what happens there.
Card not yet received in mail.
Not a single one of my calls made it through this week to IRCC, webform obviously is a crapshoot, and MP's office says due to the situation in Afghanistan, not even their requests are being handled unless urgent.
What to do? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, I just got my PR card last Monday (August 23, 2021)
Hi guys,
Looks like my journey finally came to an end.
My timeline is as follows:
COPR received in email: March 23
Photo delivered to Etobicoke: March 25
GU1: August 16
Application approved and card mailed: August 24
Card in mailbox: August 27
I do not have words, I am literally crying. It was so hard for us. I came to Canada in 2018 on work permit. I came through so many things since then. My dependents were refused 2 times to get open WP and just to visit me. Then I applied for province nomination and received it. It turned out that processing time for paper based PNP application was too long, so I applied to PNP paper stream and then decided to go with EE CEC after one full year in Canada. My first CEC file was refused because of stupid error, then covid came and I applied for CEC second time. Then I applied for WP extension and visitor visa. Both were approved with huge delays due to covid. There were a couple of weeks when I was in implied status with unknown future and after 3 refusals. Actually my second CEC file never came to an end. March 2020 CEC applicants know how hard it was. After 17 months of processing my second CEC application was withdrawn (just a couple weeks ago), as I became permanent resident in March 2021. Just withrawal of application took about 4 months. Finally I got my family in Canada. It was almost 3 years without them, it was so hard. Now I am back to normal.
I wish everybody good luck! This forum has been very helpful in difficult times of waiting.
Do not deal with immigration consultants! They leaded me to troubles. Rely on yourself, do everything yourself!
