I could see November submission are still waiting approximately 4 months. Any clue are they really working? they just need to scan 1 photo to print the card.

I assume the machine itself will reject the photo if it is not as per standard

I sent my photos back in Nov 20 to Etobicoke office. But my friend got portal link last week. I am active in that thread too.

Why would it take them 129 days to simply print a PR card? Does anyone know? What process do they have to follow to print a card? Am I missing something? @legalfalcon

I don't think it takes them 129 days to print a card it takes them 128 days to print all the other cards first

If you compare with portal based applicants, who take around 1 month to receive the card, I would guess it's mostly the backlog of scanning the photos.

Today is my 129th day since my photo was delivered to Etobicoke office and there's zero activity on my application. So even 129 days aren't accurate, unfortunately.
