Hello everyone.
I read al all comments about all my stress these time waitting for the Pr. It’s been a long journey and I wanna share my small experience. Hopefully will help in somehow and wish you guys luck.

Application started : 22 Nov 2022

Letter pre-arrival services sent : 12 Sep 2023

Canada approved the application and sent it to Quebec

Police cerficticated: 18 Jun 2024

Submitted late and took me almost 1 months to get the PEC from my city (Vietnam) 21 July 2024

1st portal email : 7 Aug 2024 - replied back the same day and keep resent 2-3 times

2nd portal email : 30 Aug 2024

Ecopr : 9 Sep 2024

Applied new SIN number - super easy and received 2-3 days later.

Requested the picture and submitted it 2 days later.
However, the picture was rejected because too dark. I went to retake again and applied back on 1 Oct 2024


PR card arrived home Oct 9 2024

Ready to travel and free to work now.

should be resent the email reply for Portal 1 two three times or one time is fine?

I am CEC Applicant with my wife in Canada already. We were already on open work permit working here while we applied to PR. I got my PR card in mail last week. We are still waiting for PR card for my wife. I thought they will be mailed together. How much time it takes for dependant(wife) to recieve the PR card? Is there way to check?

Muhammad! I didn't know that! Thank you for your great information. I registered it and checked it just right now. Then, it says that one "General mail" will arrive soon. I hope it is PR card

I sent 2-3 times and even called the Ircc to check if they recieve it

It will say Canadian Bank Note Company in mymail. Depending where you live, it can take even up to 3 weeks to receive the card

Hello everyone,
I have applied under CEC
below is my timeline:

Submitted docs on July 17th
Biometrics updated on August 16th
Medical passed on August 23rd
Under application status, the latest update changed from medicals passed to Final decision today.
So, how long do you all think I must wait until I get my PR? It feels like my process is going slow and it makes me a bit worried.

Final decision - On October 21, 2024: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Background check and review of eligibility says: we are processing your background check and we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Please update me if there is anything I can do to fast-track my application.
