is there any chance my photo will be rejected?
Or does GU1 mean that photo and address were approved and card was sent to production?

I got my GU2 today, not even 15 days after GU1.

Same dates for myself and my spouse.

Here is my updated timeline:


eCOPR: Oct 3, 2023
GU1: Nov 7, 2023
GU2: Nov 16, 2023
PR Card: Pending

Woww you guys are lucky. My gu1 is nov 2 and still nothing
 
VO Montreal
Single Applicant - CEC Inland.

Portal 1: July 12th
Portal 2: August 9th
eCOPR: August 11th
PR Card application linked to GCKey.
GU1: November 06th, Address accepted in the portal.
GU2: November 16th. PR Card mailed.
PR Card: Waiting.

As a note, I travelled to Europe last week and came back to US, drove to the border and crossed with my eCOPR. 0 problems given!

I spoke with IRCC two weeks ago to let them know that I have not received any updates on my card and that its been almost 3 month since I submitted my photo and revived my Ecopr, the agent said she would escalated it as its been over the suggested processing times. I called them again two days ago to see if there was any progress and the agent said it has been escalated.

Today I finally recieved GU 1>>>> Final decision - November 16, 2023
- Ecopr -August 10 ,2023

Another member shared this info a few weeks ago

You can call IRCC at 1 (888) 242-2100 .When you call IRCC, It will ask you for the UCI , press 2 i.e. no UCI available and then as soon as the message for Afghanistan and Ukraine refugees start playing press 3 3 0 in quick succession you will be able to reach them. Ask them your PR card application status
