Hi! Anyone who got their eCOPR in mid-July (July 10th to 20th) have gotten any updates on their case or received their PR card yet?
I got my eCOPR on July 13th and haven't gotten any updates since then. Called IRCC on Tuesday and they said they would send a note to my local VO which is Etobicoke. Still no updates :/
We received our eCoPR on July 19th, have called IRCC multiple times, and when the 36 days passed, the agent flagged our applications. We have also submitted separate web forms with documents explaining the urgency of our application. Three days after we submitted the forms, we received a response that the files were added to our application. We have contacted the MP of our community and although they said it would take a lot of time for them to reach out to IRCC, I received an update yesterday (Aug 31st) from the MP office that they contacted IRCC on Aug 30th and the agent said it could take 6 more weeks for our applications to be processed. If we haven't received them by the end of Sept, they will follow up again.

Yesterday, I checked my application and it showed a GU in Aug 30th, indicating " Final Decision - application in process...". I don't know if the MP had to do something with it but I hadn't seen any updates before. My spouse's has no updates.

Try these steps if not already exercised -

1. Link PR card application to GCkey - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account/link-paper-online.html OR
2. Call IRCC at 1 (888) 242-2100 .When you call IRCC, It will ask you for the UCI , press 2 i.e. no UCI available and then as soon as the message for Afghanistan and Ukraine refugees start playing press 3 3 0 in quick succession you will be able to reach them. Ask them your PR card application number and use the same to link

If you are from India, when you try to link PR card application, use Place of Birth as CITY,(SPACE)STATE.

...I got no traction lol

I used the webform to put in a request on August 18, explaining that I had already booked international flights leaving September 15 and I needed my cards before then (I also attached a pdf of my booking information). I then called again and was told that there was nothing else I could do but wait for the card, as they had already sent out a note last time I called.

Nothing really happened in between until today August 31 when the GCKey cases for my wife and I both changed to Approved, and Card Sent. Hopefully they'll be here before my travel date!!!!!!

In summary:
ECOPR: Jun 13, 2023
First call to IRCC, they send note to processing office: Jul 25, 2023
Webform request to expedite: Aug 18, 2023
Second call to IRCC, was told to wait: Aug 18, 2023
PR card mailed: Aug 31, 2023
My card was mailed on a Thursday and it arrived on the Tuesday. So will be fine recieving it before the 15th

Okay finally my PR card was mailed out!
eCoPR: July 5 (linked PR card application on the same day)
GU1: August 23 (Final Decision updated)
GU: August 29 (Approved and mailed out)

Hopefully it arrives by next week!
Hi Friend I hope you receive the card soon. I have the exactly same timeline as yours, but my landlord got the key for the mailbox so I could not check it frequently. I bet our cards will get delay due to holiday + Canada post does not work on Sat and Sun.
i think the courier is Canada Post?

eCoPR: July 11
The mailing address is accepted, but the photo is still In review under IRCC.
Etobicoke

I am still waiting for the PR cards, Is anybody in the same situation for this long?
It seems it's taking too long; I haven't received any email about the PR card being sent yet.

Sent a webform yesterday begging them to expedite the process again as I have an international flight in three weeks
I can’t believe this is happening

Speaking from my experience, I don’t think the webform will do anything except you can prove the extremely urgent reason. Which is fair enough in my opinion.
Both me and my co-worker sent the urgent request to webform: my mom got into car accident but she is fine now. However, my co-worker dad passed away due to cancer. We both provide doctor’s note, plane ticket + receipt.
Her pr card came in 1 week, mine has an email said “ we will put a note in the file”.
and mine is still processing as the same timeline with everyone else.

I hope you get it before your flight.

Yeah, I am aware of that unfortunately. I just wanted to exhaust all my options before I cancel my flight.
I also support fast processing for urgent cases. Though, if the processing wasn’t delayed at all, I wouldn’t even need to submit the webform. This is way past processing time that was published in July.

Glad your mom is alright now. Hope you get your card soon as well

We are on the same boat. We received our eCoPR on July 19th. I have a work-related travel on Sep 11th and a PRTD is not feasible for me as I will be there only for 5 days and my spouse also flies to the U.S for work on a frequent basis. We have done everything within our reach including contacting IRCC multiple times, submitting an IRCC form with proof of our urgent request, and contacting our local MP to inquire about our application. My application started moving the day the MP contacted IRCC. Not sure if that helped, although they say they cannot expedite it.

Interestingly, the last time we called IRCC the agent said that he has received many calls from people inquiring about the delay in their PR card applications and he assured us that the posted processing time is not accurate for most applications. From what I see on this forum, it is taking about 2 months for in-land applicants and less than 30 days for outland applicants.
