eCoPR 21st of June. Still no update. VO: Montreal

I need to travel early September. I am so confused. 2 months have passed while the average on the processing times is listed as 34 days. What's going on with Montreal's office? :( did anybody who got their eCoPR after the 21st of June get the PR Card from Montreal's office?
Nope :( Waiting since June 30.

This was the email i sent.....
Hi,

Today makes it six weeks since my ECOPR document was issued. However i am yet to get my PR card nor an update on my GCKey profile. This has passed the twenty-eight days average processing time on the cic website when i got my ECOPR.

My pr confirmation portal states that the case status is accepted and closed. I have called the care line and filled application complaints but not update

this was the response i got after 5 days

Good day,

Upon review, I have processed the PR card. It is now in the stage of approval before being sent to you.
To find out how long it may take to process your application, please visit the processing times page.

Thank you,

what was the email address that you sent the email to? thanks

I have the same issue with you and my ECOPR date is June 23rd. An agent last week also put down a note to expedite my request but no updates so far.
I called the 2nd time today and the agent said "the office" received my expedited request on August 21st 2023. FYI so you know what to ask when you are tracking status updates on your card.

You could contact your local MP. My PR card application got some traction the day after they enquired. Coincidence? Possibly.

Hello everyone, just wanted to also add to this chat as I ended up in a very similar situation to many. I signed my eCoRP on August 3rd and have flights booked for 2nd week of September. I'm not sure if I will get the PR card in time. I called yesterday IRCC, however they told me not to hope to make it by early September, not sure what exactly to do at this point. Also, considering just leaving the country, flying back to the US and driving through the border, but not sure if anyone has done it before and if that's too risky.

Montreal office here. eCOPR June 27. First GU was yesterday Aug 23 ( so 57 days for the card to be approved). I was so worried that I couldn't make it for my 1-week trip on Sep 23rd but it's all fine now. Honestly, I would have to cancel the trip if the card didn't arrive in time. Called the ircc on the 28th-day mark but they said they couldn't do anything.

I am glad for you. Unfortunately, I still did not get any update. I am calling now. Hopefully, I also get some good news.

You can certainly do the second option of Flying into USA (as long as you have a valid ESTA) and drive across the border. Just carry your eCOPR with you, and they'll verify your details at the border. My PR Card arrived 60 days after my eCOPR, so I don't like your chances of getting it early September either.

Finally got GU1
- eCOPR: July 5
- GU1: August 23
I have quite similar time line.
- eCOPR: July 7
- Linked with GCKey: August 23
- GU1: August 23 (Final decision)

Now I have a question.
Generally, is the final decision made upon GU1? Or GU2?
Does anyone have an idea on it?

Everyone's updates are slightly different.

The way I see it, it's not really a ghost update, if you know what the update is.... If "Final Decision" was the first update you saw, then you should get a second update in around 5-6 days with the PR Card details and a message saying that it has been mailed to you. Then around 4-5 days after that you should receive it in the mail.
