Hello,

My PR card is expiring on 2012-05-03 and I applied for renewal on 2011-10-17. Now the eCAS shows my status as follows:

1. your application was received on 2011-10-18
2. we started processing your application on 2011-11-29

And the online processing time shows 147 calendar days. My question is: From which date should I count the 147 days?

I also have a citizenship application in process and was invited for an interview on 2012-02-08 to show them all the passports and travel documents (because I am over 55, a test is not required). Will the results of this interview affect my PR card application?

Thanks in advance if anyone can provide answers.

1. The date the application was received in Nova Scotia.
2. No. but if you haven't meet the residency requirement, it will.

Hi PMM or anyone who's experienced,

I got the following from eCAS today:

Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on February 7, 2012. You will be notified by mail within four weeks and invited to pick up your card at the CIC office closest to you.

We returned your application to the Case Processing Centre on February 7, 2012. The Case Processing Centre will continue to process your application within the normal service standards.

Now I am totally confused. Why on the same day my application is approved and returned? Is this a normal procedure?
