Hi everyone,
I have to renewal my PR card because it expired.
I had sent my application on June 13 and I received an email today said :”This confirms that your application for your Permanent Resident card has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2022/06/17”

is this AOR email?
I just want to ask if everyone know how long it take for them to made decision after they received my application?

Yes, that is AOR.

Nobody can tell you how long the process will take, unfortunately. Based on other reports, it's moving faster now (maybe a couple of months).

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 17, 2022.
   I don’t see anything else. Should I call them to see what’s happening?Do you know if it said decision made so my application will be approved ?

Someone had to enter `Decision Made' into the system, right? For whatever reason, the information above just hasn't been updated yet. You may have your card (assuming it's a positive decision) before they update their system. LOL!

Application approved on aug 8, 2022
August 9, 2022 we mailed your permanent card to you. It can take up to 6 weeks.

Hi, I had mailed my PR card renewal packet on June 23rd and haven't received anything in the mail. Did you receive the client ID via email? Without the client ID, there is no way for me to check my PR renewal status?

Hi, I emailed my PR Renewal Papers in July and I have not received AOR or an email from CIC yet. Do you know if there is a way I can check online or should I call CIC to see if they did receive my application? I am a bit worried as it has been over a month now,

Hi, I had mailed my PR card renewal packet on June 23rd and haven't received anything in the mail. Did you receive the client ID via email? Without the client ID, there is no way for me to check my PR renewal status?

I didn’t receive anything until I called in last week and I received my AOR right away 5” after I hang off the phone. Like I don’t receive any notification or email to tell me my application was approved. I just random login to my GC account today and I saw it approved yesterday and the card sent out today.
Note: I called them last week and they told me they are processing applications had received by June 19

My pr renewal case:

July is still too early for AOR email yet. Because they are processing applications received by June 17 ( at the time I called last week they told
Me ) but if you want to can give them a call at 1 (888) 242-2100 to see . Like I said in previous post, they didn’t send me any AOR or emails till I called them . Even they approved and sent me the card but I didn’t receive any notifications from them. I just random login and checked it.

You are so lucky, I have applied for my wife pr card renewal last year in october and they started application in january. Decision made came in may. But still waiting for the card to be sent.

Funny enough, I just received the AOR email this afternoon, now to wait and see how long it will take them to process the application.

I renewed my PR card online on 1st November,2022 i have still not received an acknowledgment nor any updates on whats going on. Is there anyone in the same situation., i am worried as my card expires in January 2023
