Hello I would like to renew my PR Card, I have a question is regarding my Passport (peruvian) My passport have my personal data in both English/Spanish and a stamp in Spanish. Should I have to translate it? Since I see :

" One (1) main identity document
A photocopy of one of the following:

  • your valid passport or travel document or
  • the passport or travel document you had when you became a permanent resident (if applicable, include the passport page that was stamped when you arrived in Canada and became a permanent resident) or
  • the certificate of identity or travel document issued by the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or a foreign country.

Note: The copy should show:

  • the document type and number;
  • issue and expiry date;
  • your name;
  • your photo; and
  • your date of birth

All that information is in both languages (included English) just stamps are in spanish, I have to translate the stamps? even does noy specify it on the webpage?
Thanks

It would depend on what those stamps are.

Generally for the main ID page of passports (to international standards, of which ICAO? I think is main one) there is info in English or French and national language (eg Spanish), and translation of that part is not needed (because it's already in English or French).

If the stamps are important, you might have to get them translated. If they juust identify eg the issuing authority, probably not.
