Dear all,

I am renewing my PR card, I have some questions and hope I can get some clarifications:

1. For my address history (and work history) - Today is Feb 7, 2022 - when do I start showing my 5-year history - from Feb 7, 2017 - Feb 7, 2022 or Feb 6, 2017 - Feb 7, 2022?

2. If I sign my application on Feb 8, 2022 do I need to adjust the 5-year period?

3. For Travel History - Should the "Period to be assessed" date rage be same as Q1 above?

4. For Travel History - If say I flew out on Nov 9, 2019 at 12 pm and returned on Nov 11, 2019 at 3 pm, does my absence then count as being absent on - Nov 9, Nov 10, Nov 11 - 3 days? Is my understanding correct?

I am kind of in a stressful situation, so any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,
Adam

Think of how it works for a calendar year - Jan 1 to Dec 31. Logically then would be Feb 8 [year] to Feb 7 [year].

I doubt it matters to such a fine detail UNLESS you are cutting extremely close or there was some change in address or employment of significance. And again, as long as you don't put LESS THAN a cmplete five year period, I doubt IRCC will care that much.

2. If I sign my application on Feb 8, 2022 do I need to adjust the 5-year period?

Don't know.

3. For Travel History - Should the "Period to be assessed" date rage be same as Q1 above?

Of course.

4. For Travel History - If say I flew out on Nov 9, 2019 at 12 pm and returned on Nov 11, 2019 at 3 pm, does my absence then count as being absent on - Nov 9, Nov 10, Nov 11 - 3 days? Is my understanding correct?

Every day you were in Canada even for a minute counts (well, not flying over without going throug customs obviously).

So in your example above - you were only absent for one day, Nov 10.

I am so grateful for your response and patience, Armoured. I appreciate you taking the effort to reply at such a stressful moment that I am in right now.

Thanks a million. :)
