PR card renewal online - photo (did you scan and upload a printed photo)

HI,

The online application of PR card renewal requires one to upload the front and back of a photo.

Only photos printed on paper (photo paper) has a front and back side. Photos in digital format just has a one side.

1. Did everyone who applied online scan the paper photo taken at a studio. If so how did you scan it? Just using a scanner?
2. If you uploaded digital format, what did you upload for the backside.

Have the photographer give you two digital files( one front, one back), making sure they conform to the iRCC specifications...then, cross your fingers after you upload them. LOL!

I also notice that on the online application, any date I enter (in the tables), it automatically adjust to one day before. Did you face this? Is this normal?

Sounds like yet ANOTHER glitch/bug with the online application. It's been a painful process for a lot of people.

I uploaded both front and back with the signature, name and the studio name

I had a problem with 'Your photo is being validated' and I solved it. What you should do:
1. switch off all ad blockers
2. allow pop ups (Click the configuration icon next to the URL -> Select "site settings" -> Enable pop-ups, redirects, intrusive ads, and insecure content -> Refresh the page)
3. set the time automatically in your computer or smartphone (right click on time -> adjust time -> set the time automatically)

In my case the third point helped.
