Hi,

I am preparing my wife's application for PR renewal. We very frequently cross into the US via land border for work and various other reasons. She has also travelled quite a few times to the US by herself. We do not have records of her travel from 2020 - 2022. We checked US I94 records as well. Since in the PR Card renewal application we have to list all the travel history what should we do about the missing ones? I am confident that she has met the 730 days threshold by a large surplus margin. She has been working in Canada for the last three years. We have CRA Notice of assessments for last three years and employer T4 statements. Also, I read somewhere that CBSA discourages to request travel history for PR renewal purpose. I understand we should have kept her travel records (I maintained mine) but looking for the best way to move forward.

You need to list all crossing, even for a day trip.
Maybe starting to keep all the records from now on using a spreadsheet.

She will need that for her citizenship application anyway in the future.

She can try to look at her receipts (e,g, gas bills and credit card statements) and even google map tracking (if she has turned that on) to find out.
We used to live close to the border and went down for gas fill-ups and package pickups. It took us a LONG time to create the record when my husband applied for his PR renewal and citizenship.
