Is someone keeping an eye on your mailbox while you are outside canada? Has your card delivered?

I think it's unlikely the phonebank person has any idea, they just say that. Don't think you should worry until it's after four weeks.

It's still stupid and should be embarrassing for IRCC, and unfair it makes people worry.

Have you seen cases where people have received pr card after 3-4 weeks after card was mailed by ircc

I totally understand your point. I agree with you that dispatched date doesn’t necessarily mean actual post date. And yes canada post does not take 2-3 weeks. I called IRCC second time again just to check and f it was actually given to canada post on 18th and she said yes. I still think she just said yes just for the sake of it. Though this also makes me worried a little bit more. I think now either it’s lost or still not with canada post. Their mailing process is not mature and it’s cumbersome for applicants. Why someone would mail an important document without a tracking.

People should be worry when they are cutting close to their expiry date to submit the PR card renewal application. Btw, why wait until the last minute or wait until it became invalid?

On the other hand, we wouldn't worry especially we have up to 9 months before the PR card expiry date to submit the renewal application.

Actually, 9 months ago i didn’t meet the min 2 year stay in canada requirement. So, i applied as soon as i met that requirement.

After six weeks have passed since card is mailed, we can send solemn declaration. If I do that will ircc resend pr card to another address?

Yes, my mom is checking mailbox every day. Nothing yet.

Lucky indeed. Sent application in March and new checklist version in April.
