anyone with experience confirming how often pr card renewals are mailed out and how often they are made available at cic local centres? the April 2012 policy bulletin advised a one year trial program where 90% of cards would be mailed out. what is everyone's experience? I have an urgent pr renewal on behalf of a client that is completed but will not be available before client flies. If mailed to their home address it can be sent to the client. Otherwise client returns and picks up.

Card arrived Vancouver on July 19, 2013
After sending a fax and having client attend personally at Vancouver office without an appointment and not having received invitation letter, client received card at office on July 22, 2013 in time for urgent flight on July 23.
This was done for a client of mine. This is not typical nor should it be relied upon as indicative of timing. The staff was kind at the center and allowed the client to pick up the card based on the circumstances of travel. But it is possible under the right circumstances.
