I highly doubt it. It takes 3.5-5 months to process PR renewal applications. If you go, you will need to apply for PRTD to get back.

Call them and ask about the status. I had the same situation received in May and DM in Sep, found out there was a system error for card production in Oct!

So what do you have you to do, if it’s their system error?
They don’t respond if I call, I submitted enquiry through MP office and on oct 21 ircc said my card is in card processing unit, but it’s been month now, got nothing. I asked my MP to enquirer again.

In my case it took 7 mon the. See if you can find a situation to covert your app to urgent

To me, it looks like they screwed up on May applications! You should try enquiry through MP office or try calling them

Hello.
My renewed PR card was sent by mail on September 21, 2021 but I have still not received it. I know that mailing can take up to 6 weeks but it's been more than that now.
Has anyone else experienced unusual mailing delays? Should I be worried?

Yes it said clearly that it was mailed on September 21st.
There was also another notification after the mailing one, that said; "We sent you a letter on October 1,2021. Please consider mailing delays before contacting us."
I supposed the letter would be about refunding some overpayment I paid because it was refunded the same week. But I don't know now I'm confused.

Hmm, have you contacted them. It's been 2 months since it was mailed. I don't think post Canada takes this long. I received it in 4 days. I would contact them. It's possible that it was lost in the mail. If this is the case, I am afraid you would have to apply for replacement, but they can confirm this.

Guys. This is my story. I got my ecopr from Etobicoke office on Feb 4 2021 and next day I was able to link my pr card application. But no updates after that. So on Oct 3 2021, I sent a new application by filling the solemn declaration section as never received a card and sent it to 49 Dorchester, Sydney. Please advise if anyone similar to my situation?
