Hi friends,

Thought I would share my mum’s PR card renewal timeline.

We sent a further application in September requesting urgent processing so she could attend my wedding on the 12th of this month, they didn’t consider it urgent so did not process it, so my wedding came and went and my mum couldn’t attend.
They still processed the first application we sent almost exactly 4 months after they received it.
Kind of annoying it was just a few weeks too late but what can you do..

Best of luck to everyone waiting.

Hi.
Is there anyone from June renewal applicants who has not got any news from IRCC?
To tell the truth, they have received my renewal application in June 24, but I have not received any AOR yet. But I can see it has been received by them via my IRCC account which say “in process”!
But no Email yet!
Hi friends. Today my status changed into DM in my ecas.
Still no email!!

Hi Friends,

Myself and my spouse linked our PR Card application through GCKey. We both received eCOPR on September,23,2021.

We booked flight to our home country for December 10,2021. Its been 2 year since we both left our baby who is just 3 year old now and we were waiting for our PR to complete to avoid further delays. But even though we received eCOPR we still not received the PR Card yet :(

Last week we contacted our MP and as per his reply both our PR Card sent to Production on October 16,2021.

No updates after that.....Could you please suggest anything that we can expedite the process?

We are stressed now since the travel date is approaching.....and cant bear the pain of separation anymore.....

Congratulations finally you got wat u deserve..just one question..Did you meet RO obligations.. Did you have complicated case.. As normally i cn see here people who have simple case get their card at home only with ease??
Thanks for your kind words and not particularly. I soft landed during Summer 2018 and then returned to my home country. I then planned on relocating back here permanently in 2020 and obtained a 12 month multiple entry PRTD with no difficulty and inside of 3 days. Literally, I applied for it through a VAC on a Friday and received my passport back by courier on the following Tuesday morning. That was literally a couple of weeks before Corona hit but when flights resumed I returned to Canada in September 2020 and applied for my PR card upon arrival.

By the time this appointment happens, I would have been waiting for over 14 months since the date they received my application and approximately 12 months since the date I received AOR. My application literally sat there without a single update on it from November 2020 until yesterday afternoon.

I think its because you applied too early before completion of 5 year period....

Tried that as well, still the same thing
The mystery continues..

My wife has received her AOR on October 14th, my AOR was on October 9th.

Her application on ECAS is found and showing decision made, the last line shown there is that they started processing it on October 14th.

Back to my ECAS, almost 3 weeks after I got my AOR, No application found on ECAS! No matter how many times I try, double or triple check the info I enter, just nothing.

I have signed up for A GC key, entered my info and then it shows "no applications to link".

It is frustrating - I think all I can do now is to wait till 138 days pass from the day they received my application, should be around November 10th, and submit a webform then see.

Before you open your application, does it say “In Process” or “Decision Made”? I would highly suggest you to link your application on gckey and see the details there. It gives you a better insight of your application.
How can one do that? I am not sure if mine is linked or not?

It was their first card. They soft-landed and left before getting their PR card (as I understand it), and stayed out for 2 years in a row. I think that's why IRCC sent their card to the local office.

No, the reason I applied is because I had never applied for or received a PR card in the first place. This wasn't a renewal, it was my first card. I didn't apply for the initial free one when I landed because I didn't have a long-term address to use and I made it clear to them that I would be leaving Canada shortly after activating my PR.

This is correct, well except the reason for sending it to the local office instead of to me directly. That one is anybody's guess.

There was no initial card for them to cancel or anything like that though. Tbh, had I have known they would mess me around like this then I would have either stuck around to receive my first PR card immediately after landing or flew back to pick it up since it took them a few months to cancel my eTA after I became a PR and I could have easily flown back without a PRTD at that point.

Hello Folks
Any april-may 2021 pr card renewal applicants on here who’s status changed from DM to actually card being sent out?

I’m new on this thread. I saw a few applicants waiting over a year. Thought of waiting for PR renewal card is very terrifying as most of the applicants are ones who plan to travel in coming few months
mine was received June 1 and until now stuck in Decision made.

I saw you said you called them and they said they are just handling something with pictures right? If that's the case just wait patiently. If in another couple of weeks you still don't hear anything, it is quite likely that your card was sent to an office for in person pick up.
Thank you for your response. Yeah i think that’s the best bet to wait few weeks and see what happens

Can someone suggest me how web form works. I see some applicants talking about web form. Does it help in speeding up the process?
We can simply call and they can answer whats going on. So why use web form
