hi all
me and my wife got immigration to Canada under skilled worker , i didnt travel yet on my immigrant visa due to my job i heard after enter to Canada i must have get my PR card to Leave Canada other wise i will be not allow to Enter Canada Again is it True ? i have problem that i still have my job contract in my country while i am planing to take 1 week off from work and travel with my wife to Canada and then come back to my home land but in week its not possible to get PR card and i heard bad news that someone who first time travling as immigrant he should get PR card then leave Canada other wise its not possible to enter again , i am confuse is it true ? is there any rule for PR card that my wife can receive it while i will be not in country , i will be very thankfull if someone help in this matter
 
If you land in Canada and you don't stay long enough to get your PR card, you can obtain a 'Travel Document - Permanent Resident Abroad.' This will allow you to return to Canada, where you can request your PR card.

Also, if your wife stays in Canada, she can receive your PR card for you and give it to you later.
