Dear Friends

I Landed Canada 2 weeks ago and after one week from landing I left Canada to my home country before I received the PR Card. What if I get any problem in receiving the PR card and if they ask me to give a show while I am outside Canada without PR card, is it a big problem in issuing a visa to re-enter Canada. In any one have similar experience.

Best Regards

If you don't get the PR card and you have to return to Canada, then you apply for a TD at the overseas visa office and pay the fee.

You can apply an emergency procedure for PR card and they will issue in 10 working days but you will have to explain them the reason......may be show them your ticket.....follow the link of PR card on cic website....all information is there....

You can't, mail, drop box or in person only. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/apply-how_demande-comment.aspx?view=d

I will have my landing interview on November 8. I have to go back home to the Philippines by November 25 coz my father is seriously ill and as sad as it is he said he is just waiting for me to come home. How long does an expedited PR card take if I show them the proof of travel and all that stuff. I can still apply for a travelling document when I get to the Philippines if I don`t get my PR card right away, right? what's the best thing to do in this situation? I was thinking of booking the tickets soon and when interview comes, I will let them know my situation.
