Hi, does anyone know if I can send my PR card to a virtual address such as Regus?
I would like to get it sent to Regus when I do a soft landing so that when I return to Canada next time it will be there waiting for me. I am from a visa exempt country so I can re-enter easily without the card.

I'm not sure what you mean by a virtual address. The card needs to be sent to a real physical address that can receive the card.

Note that depending where your from and how you are entering Canada, you will in fact require a valid PR card or a PRTD to enter Canada even if you are visa exempt. The big exception would be if you are American and/or entering from the US.

You need to provide a residential address. Regus deals with virtual mailboxes/addresses for business. IMHO, you're asking for trouble if you go this route. Caveat Emptor!

#1 Prime physical business addresses.

Regus Mailbox features many premium business addresses its customers can use as office space. Contrary to other mailbox service providers, these locations aren't just mailbox addresses of mailing facilities but actual office locations rented by the company.

These physical locations are vital for businesses that want to maintain a standard of professionalism and quality in their address to impress their customers. Users can also use these addresses on their documents or for receiving postal mail and then have that mail shipped to their current location, just like any other virtual mailbox would.

Thank you for the info. I am already using Regus and I am happy with the office operator that I have, also they have allowed me to use the address for personal reasons. Different Regus offices are managed by different people so some of them are not great but my office is fine.
My question relates to IRCC, do you know if they would ship my card to a virtual address? Which looks like a real address but the only difference is that people don’t live there but instead there are only mailboxes

Somewhat inconsistent weather people using rented mailboxes are able to receive their PR cards. Does it involve a numbered box or any clear indication that it isn’t a residential address? As mentioned this still doesn’t solve the issue of returning to Canada unless you are a US citizen. The airline should get a notification that you are a PR and that you are required to show a valid PR cars or PRTD to enter Canada.

You’d be better off giving them the address of a friend in Canada and have your PR card delivered to their house. They could even then post it to you outside of Canada, so you have it ready on hand when you re enter.

Hello everyone.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the PR approval letter, and do they send it by email or mail it to you?

My application status changed to decision made 2 days ago, but I haven't gotten any emails or information about it.
