Dear experts
I got my Canadian immigration in 2003 and got my pr card as we'll, PR card expired in 2008 while I was in UAE, the question is that is there any way of renewing of my PRCard and can go back on that pr card.

If I have to apply again do I have to go again for all the procedures or is there any other way around.

Please reply I need to know I very anxiously. :(

Regards
Khan

How many days have you spent inside Canada in the last five years? If it's less than 730, your chances start diminishing rapidly the closer you get to zero days in Canada.

If you have to apply for a PR Travel Document, the chances of it being approved depend on a number of factors.
If it's refused and you then lose any appeal, you PR status will be lost. You will have to apply again right from the very beginning and there is no short-cut.

Just out of curiosity, exactly how many days have you spent inside Canada since the day you landed as a PR back in 2003?

You obtained PR 10 years ago, and failed to meet residency obligations.

I think it's gone, I doubt if you can even appeal this, zero chances.

You will have to re-apply for immigration to Canada (if you qualify), and before that you have to relinquish PR status, do so by applying for a PR Travel Document at the nearest Canadian Visa office

Thanks all and much appreciated your valuable comments,

I just stayed in Canada for one month, I have to apply from scratch again now.

initially I got my qualification assessment from CCTT Canadian council of technicians and technologist.
Is it possible if they can reissue my assessment letter, is CCTT assessment still valid to apply again for immigration.
I am from Pakistan and working in UAE, I got my graduation from philippine, while I was looking for the assessment requirement in new case, they say university has to sent attested docs with their seal.

In my case that will be extremely difficult to approach university.

Any suggestion please in this regards.

Thanks and best regards

Why did you even apply for PR?

You should apply for a PR Travel Document and let CIC sort out your status.

Most likely, you will have to start all over again from the very beginning.
The rules have changed a lot since you last applied. You may no longer qualify.

Have you confirmed that you qualify to apply to immigrate to Canada? The rules have changed substantially since the time you applied.

Yes I do qualify to apply, I am 42 yr old young and having a 15 years of IT experience with bs in computer system engineering, only hurdle I am having to attest my document which is to be sent directly by the institution.
And as I mentioned above my university is not in my home country. :(

Thanks and best regards

So you have a job offer in Canada?

Without a job offer, you don't qualify to apply for PR through the Federal Skilled Worker program. The cap has already been reached for both the computer engineer and computer programmer occupations. This means that CIC is no longer accepting applications for these occupations (unless you have a job offer in Canada).

I see, do you think that for the year 2014 there may be the chance to apply, therefore from now onward I want to prepare my documents, hoping for the best to happen..

friend it is unfortunate that you could not utilize your earlier opportunity. The proposed 2014 EOI looks more complicated and with no guaranty of even being selected before knowing if you will be succesful...goodluck!
