Hi all.
I recently found out my pr card expires this march 11. Sadly wasn't smart enough to realize. So I sent of for a new pr card last month. I am a British citizen and have lived in Canada since 1994. Problem being is I was surprised by a paid holiday for 2 weeks to Jamaica this April 27th. I know I won't receive my pr card in time. So I have a few questions, should I reapply for pr card with the "urgent travel" or/ and apply for a permenant resident travel document in Kingston Jamaica and if so it says it takes 6 days and I was wondering of anyone has applied for one before and if it was pretty much smooth sailing. Or can I just come back in with my brand new British passport and my expired pr card. And beg for mercy. Next on the list is I think it's time to become a Canadian less hassle. Been here since I was 8 years old. Lol
Thanks for the help, any response is very much appreciated.
