PR card collection ?

Hello Friends,

Need suggestion

my PR card is mailed to my Canadian address and same is collected by my family friends as I am NOT in Canada ( I am in Netherlands for work) and have no plan to go to Canada without PR card

is it possible that when my same family friend travel to Netherlands can carry the PR card and give to me In person ?

Please suggest ?

there is no immigration check to leave the country other than an id check at checkin and boarding so carrying someones PR card with the owners permission is not an issue at all and no worse than mailing it neither option is illegal.

in any case who will even know your friend has your card unless they get pulled for a pre boarding search and even then they have a valid reason and your permission . Would have to be more than a basic pat down anyway.

Try not to overthink things given handcarry is arguably safer than mail.

sorry to ask this old question. i am in the same situation, can we carry others PR card abroad? currently my family is stuck in other country and i recently received PR cards. will there be any questions asked at the immigration or landing? please share your experience.
