PR Card Arrival Timeline Thread Deleted?

Wanted to let you guys know that my PR card came in the mail!

Timeline:
App: April 3, 2014
Landing: June 22, 2015
PR card: Sept 15, 2015

My wife did her landing on June 30. PR card arrives by end of next week.

My husband got a letter saying the date on their version of his COPR is wrong, so we had to send in the stamp on his passport as confirmation. The letter nearly gave us a heart attack to say the least. But, that means they are working on applications received around July 11 as of Sept. 15 (the date on the letter).

Update on timeline for my wife:

Landed on July 18, 2015 at Ogdensburg.
PR card received on September 18, 2015. Exactly two months. It says it was printed on September 14, 2015. So it took 4 days to be delivered by mail.

Sooner than I expected say the processing times is over 80 days but I am not complaining.

Since this is as good a thread as any for an update, I received my PR card in the mail today.

Landing: July 27th, 2015
Card issued: September 15th, 2015 (expiry 15 Sept 2020)
Arrival: September 21, 2015 in Montreal

Found out today you can't actually get your BC license without having the actual PR card. Ok, so he can work, get medical, but god forbid he gets a valid license? Makes no sense to me, but whatever. They took our money and made up the license, but he can only have a temp BC license until his PR card. Does this seem right to any other BC'ers?

Hopefully it doesn't take much longer to fix their mistake :.

Mine shows complete since I've landed.
You entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson International Airport, Terminal No. 1 office on July 3, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident.

Did it changed, when the card was issued?? my wife's status is Decision made.

I wouldn't worry about ECAS, I think it depends on the officer who landed you. My spouse had his PR card go into processing but ECAS never changed from decision made.

After waiting for more than 3 months (landed on June 30, 2015), We called CIC call center this morning. At first my wife called, through conference call as you can only call from Canadian number, a lady replied that one has to apply for PR, even if you are a new PR. Further, she mentioned that she cannot see my wife's info in her system, so definitely my wife must apply for PR card. As I am her legal representative, we did this while apply PR, I again called them and explain all the story (waited for 3 months and got completely B***S info this morning), upon hearing this the guy transfer my call to his manager. The manager then replied to me that the office who helper us landing forgot to complete my wife's application at the port of entry. This is the main reason that my wife ecas profile is still "Decision Made" but not "Complete". CIC has now send email to the port of entry, Niagara Falls, to confirm my wife's landing and then once, confirmed they will start processing my wife's PR card.

Two things that I learned
1. You must confirm from landing office that s/he completed you application
2. The call center always gives BS info, so try to call them 2-3 times before taking the next step.

Ya I was worried about that as well since my husband's ecas just said decision made after landing, but his did indeed go through. Instead of a PR card in the mail last month, we got a letter saying the agent at the border screwed up on the landing date, so we had to fax in landing date proof.

Now, on this letter there is a special 1800 number for Permanent Resident cards. That's probably why you couldn't get much info, I think the call centre is for applications, not the card department.

I landed at Lewiston on June 29th and I still don't have my PR card. ECAS does show that I landed and became a PR.

I'm not in a huge rush because as others have said you don't really need it for most important stuff (in Ontario I didn't need it for my driver license - I have an SIN and my OHIP card) but I still can't help compulsively checking the mail! Hopefully it will show up before Halloween...

So what is the proof of landing date?? CoPR??

May be we will be asked for that as well.
