PR Card and how to handle while abroad

Hi there,

So I got my Visa and I have to land before January 4th to validate my CoPR. However, I won't be able to settle down immediately, I need to go back home for a few time for different circumstances and I am really confused. I have a few questions:

1/ I know that I can go validate my CoPR and leave Canada again but I won't be able to receive my PR card yet, Can I put my couzin's Address in Quebec (Montréal) while I'm supposed to stay in any other Province than Quebec (Moreover, even though you can land in Quebec, in the letter provided by the embassy it is mentionned not less then twice, that for Quebec you have to get a CSQ, so I was wondering if an address in Quebec to receive the same is possible)?

2/ In the letter provided by the embassy, they mention that you can validate your CoPR in any aeroport before going to your final province destination. Does this mean that if we land at the Aeroport of Trudeau-Montréal while we will settle down in Ontario, it's OK?

3/ How long in general that takes to receive a PR Card once landed?

4/ I read also that PR cards cannot be sent by courrier or brought by someone else to my country, because of the new RFID cards. So how can I do if I'm still abroad and need to revert back to Canada.

5/ I read that we can apply for a PRTD while we don't have the PR card yet (for one entry to Canada when we need to back). But is that something we have to do while we landed the first time to Canada? or while we are abraod? How long that would take, please?

Thank you!

1) If you immigrated through a Provincial Nominee program or the Federal Skilled Worker program then you cannot give an address in Quebec for the delivery of your PR card. If you went through a Provincial Nominee program, you need to provide an address from the province that nominated you. If you immigrated through FSW, you need to provide an address outside of Quebec. If you do otherwise, you may be refused landing.

2) Yes - that's OK.

3) Around 8 weeks plus mailing time.

4) Not true. Fine to courier or have a friend bring it.

5) You can only apply for a TD from outside of Canada. It typically takes 1-2 weeks but varies from country to country.

Sorry an other confirmation needed.
Then, I can land in Canada to CoPR, request for my PR Card using an address of my friend oustide Quebec who can mail it to me by courrier. I can come back back for like 1 year and revert back later on to spend at least 730 days out of 5 years to validate my PR, is that correct?

Thank you

I landed at 15th April 2016 as FSWP immigrant and then after one month returned to my home country (Pakistan). I provided my brothers' residence address living in Alberta. However, he has still not received my PR Card. I want to know if it could be possible that they can stop mailing my PR card after knowing that I have left Canada?? (I have not informed them but through my passport/exit from Canada they can know that I am no longer in Canada). I am planning to get the Card by hand if some friends coming, however getting confused as the days pass.
