Hi!! I am from Mumbai.. My timelines are as follows:
AOR 26 Jul..
Meds Passed 4Aug
Schedule A request 4 Aug
Back ground Check in process 4 Aug
Back ground Check Not Applicable 10 Aug
Back ground Check in process 17 Aug

Does this mean that my case is now in LVO?
What is the process here?

For those people who received their PR after file got transferred to NDVO could u please share what gets checked at NDVO? I have a fair idea but would like your inputs. Was there a preliminary eligibility check done at CIO too before it got transferred to NDVO?
As far as I know, everything is done in Canada before the file is moved to the Local VO. The officer at Local VO reviews the comments made by the analysts during R.10, Eligibility, Criminality checks. They also review the Security check report and if satisfied, approve the file. If they think they need to verify something else, then they do that too.

Im stuck at NDVO too. Do you mind sharing what you know about the process that ought to take place at NDVO!

AOR 29 April
Meds passed 22 June
BGNA 23 June
1st Aug Addn docs not required

Eligibility and BG checks will be finalized based on the comments of the analyst that reviewed your file at CIO. This is what i have read from what other applicants have posted and whose files have got transferred to a local visa office.

Almost a month since file got transferred to NDVO and more than 2 months since NA2. Still nothing. Ordered GCMS notes but got delayed coz of some problem with letter of consent.

Wow! NDVO was considered to be fast. Don't know what is delaying all these applications.

Hope they speed up now. At this rate i m worried we gonna cross the dreaded 6 months mark. Common NDVO don't disappoint us.

Hello all,

I have submitted my application on 14th Feb 2017. The application processing time has exceeded 6 months.
Status of the application - Review of additional documents - Need more documents to process the application ...

I understand from GCMS notes that my file has been sent to NDVO from case analyst to review and finalize. I also found that the case analyst has mentioned that my NOC code does not match with my profession. The reason which i think is keywords in the NOC occupation did not match with my experience letter( reason -as it was technically made ) . I would like get clarified on few questions.

1. Does all the application go to NDVO ? If so, during which stage of processing ? As my application has not cleared eligibility check.

2. Would NOC code mismatch lead to rejection ? I can get a experience letter matching the NOC code to prove it. But will someone ask for clarification before rejecting ?

3. Usual processing time at NDVO office ? as my application has gone on 21st June 2017 and no response till now.

Regards,
Neethu

Unfortunately, yes NOC mismatch may lead to rejection. I hope they give u opportunity to explain. The biggest problem with NDVO is that it cannot b contacted at all. They do not reply even if it is an emergency.May god bless u with mecy!!;

Not all apps go to Ndvo. Many are being finalized in Cpc Ottawa these days.

Yes it could lead to rejection. It completely depends on the Officer's discretion, whether he rejects it outright or ask for more docs or call for an interview.

Usual times are around 30-45 days.

You did great by ordering Gcms notes at the right time, at least you have an insight & the reason for delay.

Logged in to my application a little while ago and it said "Updated". Got all excited but when i reached the status page it was exactly the same. No change. Ghost updates...i wonder what it means.. or just nothing.
