Hey, Bhava! Ottawa replied within 48 hours. Also, some mails they dont answer. Best of luck.
hi usha... thanks so much. its been a few days already. havent heard from ottawa. or NDVO.

I have applied through an agent/ representative based in canada. so i am not even able to check the status everyday. they only send updates when prompted and thats highly frustrating. so i have no idea when the BG changed to IP2.

From your timeslines it seems your case is approved. Only wait is to issue PPR. I feel your file has been taken up by a Visa Officer for final review.

So, how do you know it's IP1 or IP2? I mean what exact statements are used by CIC to indicate these levels of progress?
i just assumed its IP2. coz they say IP1 to NA happens quickly and u might miss noticing it if u dont check status everyday. since i havent been able to check status myself, i have no idea when my NA changes to IP1 and then NA. it became IP2 around July 13th to July 28th - when i paid my RPRF fee. though my agent says, BG check happens irrespective of whether u paid RPRF or not, i noticed that my BG didnt change till i paid RPRF and sometime immediately after that it went into processing.

I agree with Usha! Sharing thoughts and feelings about the whole process of PR with others is so relieving! :-)

Just out of curiosity, all India applicants have the visa office in New Delhi?
I tried to ask some query to CIC and I was prompted to select the office where I believe my application was being processed.
There I was given option of Chandigarh, Bengaluru and New Delhi.
Any thoughts?

anybody from chennai?

Seems like very few people whose files are transferred to NDVO are active here. Hard to say what movement is happening. My file got transferred to NDVO 2 weeks ago. I am at 103 days post AOR.

For those people who received their PR after file got transferred to NDVO could u please share what gets checked at NDVO? I have a fair idea but would like your inputs. Was there a preliminary eligibility check done at CIO too before it got transferred to NDVO?

For landing, do we always need to have a layover at vancouver for pr or can i directly land at alberta?
