I am new to this forum but i have some very quick questions:

1. What exactly is done in background check. My bacground check is in process.

2. I got my ppr and uci number via mail on 7 march and i submitted my passport to vfs delhi on 9 march and it reached visa office on 10 march. When can i expect any update on my cic account ?

3. Is ppr only given to approved candidates or still there is some chance of rejection. I was really worried till this stage and still worried.

I had opted for self pickup at vfs.

Had ordered gcms notes(generated 23 Feb 2017) and it had the following:

- application approval date: 16 Feb
- request for passport: 16 Feb
- notes on COPR. Has my name, details and the date till which the visa would be valid. My case it is the date my medicals were passed. Can confirm once i get my hands on COPR

I received PPR on 6th March. So, if we look into the above we can say that the final decision is taken before PPR is sent.

Your account should get updated in 2-3 days. Also, if you go up a few posts(page 250) you would get a better idea of the time being taken for updating of CIC account.

I am deeply disappointed with this stupid and annoying process after every thing Ian done why the hell they are not dispatching passports
I am losing my job due to some stupid consular who is holding passports
I got an ultimatum from my employer if I can't travel latest by Saturday
I don't what they are going to decide
My heart is full of hate hate hate
It almost 9 months since application to PPR and these guys spoiled all my plans
I could not sleep while night checked 100 times the stupid thing says it's being processed at Canada embassy

Got the golden mail just now.
My background check never changed at all.
After PPR mail, now background status is in progress.

Congrats on PPR. On which date your medical was done at panel ? I want to understand that timeline of passing the medical after the panel uploads it.

I submitted my passports on 1st March and haven't heard from the Delhi VO since. I have absolutely no clue as to why they haven't dispatched the passports, and the high commission does not respond to mails unless they think it is necessary. How stupid is that?!

I am raising a CSE today hoping it helps. I suggest you do the same, if you haven't already.

need Help, Can someone please Guide , how much time would it takes for PPR after RPRF Submission.

I am FSWO from India, Submitted RPRF on 9/3/2017. MY AOR is 9/12/2016.

And

Is there any other method to check PPR, mail ID in my account is of My agent , so i would not come to know about PPR mail, I am completely dependant on him.

Congrats! Plz Savour the moment! Can you share if you are a single applicant along with your travel history? Also, whether the PPr came from NDVO?
