I have most of my visa stamps in my previous passport which as expired. Renewed and Received new passport just last year. Should I scan both current and my old expired passport as well for e- APR?

What to do in my case bro, I need my passport at anycost by Monday. I dont know whom to contact what to do
i have submitted a letter at Hyderabad VFS, Wrote a mail delhi immigration, Raised a CSE
Will any of the above help to get my passports back

Application got approved on 9th March itself in CIC
submitted passports on March 6th and 10 working days also completed
I don't what will happen, I am dying with lots of pressure from my employer to travel as it critical for me to attend the discussions with client
Must I travel to Delhi on Monday to embassy?

Marsgpra: We all understand how tough the situation is for you due to the delay in getting back your passport.

As I read, you did raised it with VFS; but their job is to send and receive passports. They don't delay, if they receive your PP.

I suggest you raise a CSE again and inform the urgency and request them to expedite and deliver your PP.

Try calling them. They will tell you exactly where your passport is. If they say it is with NDVO for processing then we cannot do anything but wait for dispatched message. In my case I had recd a dispatched message much before but the passport went to different city VFS and so it was returned back to NDVO and again sent to my city which I recd three days late.

If you get dispatched message today then also it is not possible you get your passport on Monday morning. So plan accordingly.

Hi Everyone

Has anyone done the Police clearance in Mumbai by applying online to the Maharashtra police clearance website? I understand that you then have to go with the filled application to the local police station for processing and then they follow their process.Any experience?

Also how long does passport seva kendra take to issue a police clearance certificate? My issue is that i am living on rent and my rent agreement is only on spouse's name. PSK says that need a current address proof which is either rent agreement/electric bill or water bill or any id which mentions the current address. I have my id proofs which has another address and not current one.

Any suggestions?

I Lied to my employer that I applied for Passport renewal, Now he is asking application number. He is saying he know a guy in Passport office in Hyderabad. I am totally screwed by Canada Embassy.
I don't understand what i have to do now, I can't support my Lie or I cannot disclose my Canada PR process.
He will never ever trust me again

I dunno about you, but if someone says he knows a guy in the passport office in Hyderabad who can squeal private information on applicants, I would call him out on his bluff because thats a pretty serious privacy violation for a sovereign travel document. Hell, Id probably get him to rat that guy out so you can set the MEA on him/her.

Unethical thing to fix this would be to give him some bullshit number to stall for time while he wastes his time and goodwill with whatever contact he has at the Hyderabad office.

Ethical thing to do is to tell him to get stuffed and quit anyway. Seriously, setting aside the fact that you technically lied, it sounds like the massive breach of trust here isnt the only problem. Why would you want to work in such a toxic workplace anyway where youre not trusted about the status of yourpersonal travel document.

I did my PCC work at the Lalbagh PSK at Bengaluru (as that was the permanent address on my passport and I currently work in Mumbai). Took about an hour and a half, tops, very painless experience, just make sure you have all the documents they ask for and also a letter of why you need the PCC (theyre pretty pedantic on this point).
