Guys to my dismay it was a schedule A request.

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form
(IMM 5669) ( with no gaps) bearing an original signature for you . This must be received
at this office by: 2017/03/06

Is the date correct?? seems a bit off to me??

When was it generated? The updates come in late and you should check your account regularly.

I too submitted in Hyderabad

I called the helpdesk and they said the Passport are being forwarded to New Delhi, They were saying there may be some technical problem so that the reason you got mail and SMS stating your passports are sent to VFS bangalore

I have to travel to US on 16th March , Hope I would receive the passports by then :'(

First, I got a message from VFS informing that my PP is sent to Bangalore. (1st Mar)
I raised the issue, next day I got a confirmation from VFS stating that it is being processed at NDVO.

It's past 7 days; no updates.
MyCIC status remain same. Not approved indicating that they have not started to process.
Don't know how many more days it will take for them to issue the COPR, stamp the PP.

One of my friends also submitted his PP to NDVO on March 1 (Bangalore VFS) and his application was approved and closed yesterday (evening).

And the letter is dated - Date: March 7, 2017

But below it says: This must be received at this office by: 2017/03/06
