Since you are outland you must provide a consent form and upload it and give your friends email address. They will send it to that e-mail address.

I got AOR on 26 Jan 2016 and on June 10, they asked for updated proof of funds which I submitted on 19th June. BG check is stii " Not Needed at this time".... Let's see what happens next. Fingers crossed

Why did they ask you for updated PoF? Was the original written long time before submission? I'm nervous now...

Does the BGC have to go from NOT STARTED to NOT NEEDED then to IN PROGRESS? or it can go straight from NOT STARTED TO IN PROGRESS for PNP? :-[ My Background check status is currently not started... not sure if it's almost there or just a beginning of another long wait... Seniors please advice!!

We are in the same boat bud.....its been 3 months since Aor and my BG check has been not needed at this time. I dont knw whats happening with my application too!!

Thanks for the well wishes. Technically yes, I'm the one who submitted the documents and everything.

But without His Grace and Mercy, it wouldn't have been approved. I thank Him because it is His will that my application be approved, at the same time it's my dream to come to Canada.

If it is not His will, it would not have happened no matter how hard I tried.

I think I saw some going from Not Started to In Progress. As long as you haven't been refused yet and still in the 6-month average processing time, then just have faith and wait patiently. Get busy with other things. Time will fly faster. Most of all cast your worries to God and have faith in Him.
