Guys and Gals my BG check status changed to In Progress now. But no email yet.

Dear All,

Today, i got new message in my CIC account. It was same letter PPR which i received on 1 March 2016 via E mail from ADVO.

When i clicked there was place to upload Passport copies. Replacement needed

Do i need to upload Passport copies? or Shall i upload Aramex courier receipt to show that the passports were sent ADVO on 2nd March 2016?

I do not understand?

It was the same PPR letter but through My cic account.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Congrats on getting your PPR, please do provide them the passport copies again which has been requested. I understand you have already dispatched your passport but CIC once again need your scanned passport copy and there is no harm providing it.

I received a letter from CIC asking for Passport/Travel document Original for me and my all dependent. In next paragraph, it was written "requested documents must be uploaded" to MyCIC account. I was given 60 days. I uploaded all scanned passport and uploaded to MyCIC account and after 2 days, my BC changed to In Progress.....I am still confused if I have to send my original passport to CIC. No postal address was provided.

Timeline:
AOR: Oct 23 (NBPNP Outland)
Medical: Passed
Additional documents: Provided
BG: In Progress 22 Jan 2016
PPR: Waiting......

For now, upload the documents that they need to your profile, exactly as they requested. They might need scans to verify your travel history.
When you receive a PPR, you will know because the letter will include instructions for physically mailing your passport in.

Below my timeline, I have a last question please if you can help with right answers, would be very excellent please !


PNP outland:

AOR: 9 Oct 2015
Medical: Passed after like one week from AOR
Annex 4A asked and provided: Nov 2015
IMM 5669 E : Schedule A - Background / Declaration asked and provided: 23 Dec 2015
BG in Progress: 6 Jan 2016
BG not needed at this time: 18 Jan 2016 ; they transfered my file from Ottawa to VO
Call from VO: 8 march 2016: Get call that my visa is ready and I can get it tomorrow
8 march: BG in progress again
9 march: visa stamped and COPR.

Now its all completed: BG, Medical and eligibility, file closed on MYCIC

My question is about landing, is it common for them to ask about money proof at the airport when landing ? if so they ask for cash or you can simply show them your national bank statement showing you have enough money and cards, which means you'll get cash from ATM after.

Please be as specific as possible,

Is that normal that B/G still in process ? is he supposed to turn to not needed at this time after a couple of weeks ?
