Hi All,

Need some advice with a complicated situation. I have received PPR today and they have asked me to submit my passport through VFS application center in Islamabad. I am currently on a work assignment in Abu Dhabi and won't be going back for a month. Can I submit it here at the VFS center and get it back here? How long does it normally take to get it back since I may have to travel back to Islamabad around the start of April

Question: Once you get the visa stamp, how much time do you have to make a landing? And are you required to land with all family members included in your application?

First of all congratulations! Try sending them email about your situation. In many cases they have got there visa office changed to the place they were currently residing. Also can you share your timeline and VO. Thanks.

You have to complete landing before your PR visa expire which is usually 1 year from the date of Medicals or upto Passport expiry which ever is earlier. Secondly Principal applicant needs to land first or with family members.

My visa office was London. I submitted the online application on 4th January 2016. Medicals status change and all additional requested documents were provided by 7th January 2016. Got PPR today, 2nd March 2016

Thanks HannaYanna. To be frank they are bit slower than others. But, some of them received faster. I believed depends Visa officer and BC. you will get soon.
