I didn't see anything update in myCIC. my ECAS is down. just email for PPR

But 30 mins after PPR I got an email saying there's an udpate. But there's no change in myCIC

Can you share your timeline? My AOR date is 24th Aug and I am still waiting. I am CEC OOPNP.

Phil - Not sure if I'm mistaken and got you mixed up with somebody else but aren't you on a British passport? If so, my understanding is we only need to send a photocopy of our passports due to not needing a visa to enter Canada. You've said you've mailed your passport?

Hey, I am Ukrainian citizen hence need a visa. But you can send only a photocopy of your passport.

If you are currently residing in Canada with a valid status, you still have to send passports

Are you sure? According to their link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/visit/visas.asp, British passport holders do not need a visa and therefore we only need to send a photocopy of our passport details page. Anyway, I've sent ours with passport photocopies now so it's too late if I do need to send the actual passports.
