That's right. I sent out yesterday. Good luck! Remember to ask for the tracking number of the prepaid envelope, since I totally forgot it and that made frustrated!

Just called CIC call center.

He said that the BC of mine was completed. Family members are in progress.

He also noted that there were no issues with file. He is really co-operative and supportive while asking information about file. This is rare case to get nice one from CIC call center. Unless it's terrible to get reply 8)

My heart is with u, since I would be ADVO.
I request GCMS notes a week ago because no BC OR any movement. It will be hard if get rejection after such waiting! Anyway we have to be patient.

It's better to request GCMS notes at least file can open. Unbeliveble, ADVO processing compare than other VO's. They just keep my file almost 4 months without anything.

BC has started when i submitted CSE for ECAS issue. After GCMS notes, they requested to submit S4.

It's really difficult to understand process by ADVO. Can't predict what to expect.

What we can other than waiting for their response.

I didn't say that. I was talking about miss_mp case. The question was Also is there an order in which CIC process the PR application categories (PNP, FSW, CEC)? - If you apply with a PNP under FSW, which are you classed as, is it under PNP?

So, for a person who applied to PNP as a FSW candidate, it is true.

As you said, we get assed under the category we fall in or applied under.

Thanks, yeah that's true for me, since I'm not eligible for CEC, so will be just under FSW.

I believe that what makes difference is just if the application is inland or outland.

That can be true as well. Outland is probably more complex to verify...

But basically with CIC nothing is ever logical.

I have a question regarding medicals. I know it was covered many times, so I apologize for the repetition, but I cannot find a clear answer.

I did mine and my daughters medical in our home country on Feb 12, and my husband did his in Canada on Feb 13. I've submitted our application of Feb 14, and Schedule 4 on Feb 16. Since then, no news. What I have seen is that people usually get medical passed pretty fast after the submission, unless some additional tests are required.

Is there a way to verify that the institutions has uploaded the medicals to CIC? Or all we can do is wait? Do I need to worry?

My Medical took almost 1 and half months to get passed. So dont worry...
Give it a month atleast...

I somehow thought that BG doesn't start before medical goes into passed, but I see in your signature that I was wrong in my assumptions.

You can call medical institution to seek information whether they uploaded the medical reports or not. In other thread I read that for one application the medical institution didn't uploaded the report at all.

On a side note, my meds took almost 2 months to get into passed state (given I got request to do chest x-ray again while I was on vacation). So sit back and relax. You will hear soon enough.
