Thanks K3 for the advice. I see if we apply through India for Quebec it will be processed in 6 months. But I don't see any occupation list for it http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/quebec/apply-how.asp

Also don't know yet if French is must language for selection criteria there.
How is IT job sector there? Not sure if for IT person selection will be done. as had to go through their selection procedure.

Also want to know if we get Quebec PR, then I guess we cannot work in Toronoto etc, we have to be in Quebec only, I suppose I am right? If yes then how is job market out there for IT people and do they hire only people speaking secondary language and by when we will be able to move to other parts of Canada for work and getting T1 visa process for Quebec PR holder will be same as for canadian PR?

If anyone has pointers to it, kindly share, meanwhile I am exploring all these options in Quebec immigration site.
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/forms/search-title/dcs-workers/index.html

Thanks.

hmmmm.....u can apply under Quebec/Saskatchewan category there you need only 47 points i think and moreover u can call anyone from ur relatives after 1 yr over there......i think nowdaz so manythngs changed over there to, due to increase in the population over there.

So far could gather that French is must for Quebec. IT jobs specally in J2EE domain are more there. Sharing the thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-applicants-lets-share-experience-t37196.0.html

I havent found any NOC list yet for Quebec, if anyone know of it please do share the link.

Now my worry is that after how many months/years we will be able to move out of Quebec and work anywhere in Canada or get T1 visa for USA? This is the important part for us to know due to French Language. Yep we will have to learn french in order to get Quebec PR, provided our occupation and application is accepted, but still it will be lot of cultural difference, so definitely will want to move to other parts of Canada (more english speaking)

Thanks K3 for taking out time and replying back. I am exploring my options. Now Australia is also on list, atleast there French ir not mandatory. Hoping that IT jobs are in demand in there.

By the way I have this question, if anyone can help with this.
How much should be my points for language? I calculated 10 points in total, is it right? Below is my score, please advise -
speaking: 7.5
Writing:5.5
Readng:6.5
Listening:7.0

Hi friends,

I re-evaluated my application and for language it's 12 points and for my wife's education it's 4 points that we are getting so in total we are getting 67 points. Only possible grey area now seems to be language calculation I hope nothing is changed in IELTS band.
Here is the link to the IELTS band that I referred to, to calculate 12 points. http://immig-canada.blogspot.in/2009/03/latest-changes-in-ielts-score.html

So point-wise I am kind of sure till I hear from them. Really hoping and praying that it is technical glitch like earlier and my application is still in-process.

Sanjay,

Here is the official current instructions for IELTS. However, I am not sure if they are the same at the time you applied. Under these you do get the 12 pts

Finally I got medical request today. It is more than 90 days but do not go with my case guys because they lost my daughter's documents which I sent in November and waited 90 days. After 90 days passed they asked to resubmit. The letter what I got today has only medical request, no information about interview required or not? no police certificate request. Is that normal or I am still getting another envelop with all those documents request. Does medical request mean I have 67 points? Is there any chances of rejection after medical other than medical problem? How long does it normally take to get PPR after medical done?
Thank you,

your e-case was before like " we started processing on your application <date>?
or the same e-case you pasted is the direct DM?
becasue if the VO started processing on <date> line and DM is mostly the cic database error we experienced before. but as you mentioned your e-case here that not cic db error, it's pretty sure DM by LA VO (sorry friend.. )
still you dont get letter by LA VO? right..
