PR Application - Background Check Timing?

Hi,

I was curious if I need to wait for the results of my background check to be sent to me - before sending in the rest of my PR application. Or if I can send those results independently, as they take some time to be processed?

You can send them independently, we did when we sent ours. Just mail them in as soon as you get them.

I wouldn't recommend this. Not sending in your PCC with your PR application may cause the app to be marked as incomplete and potentially sent back to you. You won't save any time or get the ball rolling sooner by mailing in the app without the background check.

You probably know better but I was just saying you can. We sent ours without it, just explained that we were waiting on it and would mail it as soon as it came, which we did and our app was basically done in 6-ish months.
