Guys I think my application is doomed .
I just noticed that I accidentally uploaded my PCCs translation with it’s attached true certified copy ( مهر دادگسترى و وزارت خارجه) and haven’t attached a colored scan of the original. I’m so devastated. What am I supposed to do now?? Will we definitely be refused due to incompleteness?

I did raise a CSE and attach the colored scans as soon as I found out though. Haven’t received an answer to CSE yet

You did a good job. Just wait and hope before officer start the process receive your pcc. Usually failure to provide colour copy leads to refusal. But hope as they may accept it before a decision or even completeness check.( I don't know your timeline)

I was planning on calling them today, and checking my status and finding out my visa office, do you recommend me calling? Should I mention my PCC and that i sent it in via webform?

Thanks. I hope you receive the golden email very soon. Yes, there is a lot of works to do in terms of things to learn especially for those who are outside of Canada. About the visa pick up, you should use the services of travel agencies to take your passport to the VFS and bring it back along with COPR letter because taking your passport to a neighboring country is neither economically reasonable nor practical. It may take up to one month for the visa stamped on your passport and during this time, you cannot return back to Iran! Good luck

@Mr_nobody it seems people with biometrics that got cv request are getting ppr quickly in 2 weeks after request...I've seen about 3 people now...any theory for that?

Hard to tell. The sample is still too small. In fact, what is happening is that the officer reviews the CV and then decides if he wants to run a basic security or the more detailed SS. Those cases that you have seen are probably the cases that the officer decided to run a basic security which doesn't take more than a couple of days. But, if the officer decided to send a person to SS, it might take several months for the application to get finalized.
I also have seen some rare cases in the past who got their ppr after 10-12 days of CV ADR, and interestingly, they were from Nigeria. Hope you get your soon as well

I got a ghost update sometime between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.
I hope the ghost update was the final approval on my file.
My security started on December 17.

Congratulations @INTamir. So happy to hear that. I am pretty sure that this ghost update is for the file approval. Hopefully you are gonna get your ppr in the next couple of days or even hours
By the way, so then they didn't wait for your due date? Cuz I remember your due date was in May. Am I right?

Don't worry. They are not gonna refuse you this fast. You have a long way to go. And now that you raised a CSE, they are gonna include it in your file. Before reviewing this new doc, they are not gonna make any decision. Plus, that document is just for the purpose of verification, otherwise I don't think anyone can read it anyways.
It is just that after all these new additional documents, your case is going to be complicated and takes a lot of time, because these new docs again have to go through another round of verification by some case analysts, etc.

I hope so. Because I am ok with waiting but if they refuse us, because I recently had a birthday, our points will drop by 5 and we will land on 446. CRS cut-offs have risen so it then may take a while if we get another ITA

I was able to talk to an officer
She told me that everything seems to be fine with our application and that it’s being processed at their Sydney office
She said our R10 completeness check is not done yet ( good sign since we need them to receive my police record scan first)
She said that our eligibility processing hasn’t started yet, that our medicals are just being double checked and that our criminality is under progress. She said if any additional documents are needed they will contact me, that’s when I told her about my police certificate, and that I uploaded the colored scans via webform on Saturday. She checked and said they haven’t received it yet but it can take up to five days to be received and that I shouldn’t be worried as they will forward it to the issuing office

This is was the reason why my "first application" got refused! It was refused due to incompleteness....

You are lucky that you noticed your mistake, and fixed it by raising a CSE. Since they haven't started checking R.10 on your application, your application will be safe, I believe.
