PR applicant under PNP for the month of AUGUST 2015

I'm wondering if there are differences in processing times when it comes to applicants sending passports vs copies of passport (visa exempt countries)

Hope that all August applicants got their PPR.

Will take 10 business days, so we got so many holidays 25, 26 , 27, january 1 and 2 maybe they would send on friday to activate the return envelop .

Not sure but i think the ones that need visa to enter canada take lil longer...maybe 3 weeks instead of 2 but again im not very certain abt this.

I only hope with all the holidays they still mantaun the 10 days to return passports and copr...pls god pls we want to finish with all this.

August 31st 2015 applicant. Medical done in early July 2016. 16 months passed...tried calling CIC so many times but they do not transfer my call due to high call volume.

Dont know who should I contact and get detailed information on my file?

you can call your local MP... i would advice you keep calling them "CIC" usually its takes my some many tries before i get through to them.

Did not gave me any reason, the agent told me that its in background check, i dont know why its taking that long .. I have forwarded a request to my local MP .. lets see what they say ..

I called them in Dec, they said it's still background check in progress. I think it's related with additional document request(Resume, Field of Study in Master...etc.) . It seems everyone who was asked for that got delayed.

They did not asked for anything like that from me... You applied under PGWP ?
