My friend got PPR last week, he was October applicant.

This is disappointing :(

Imagine what July remainders (like me) feel...... Unfair system from every angle...

I can understand the frustration, I use to be patient.... now just can't wait to get this over. I want to change my job :(

Same here..I started this job 3 years back with the mindset that ill be done in a year, max year and half ='( 3 LONG years. I get shorter end of the stick with AINP (18 months) and now PR. Lets hope this is our month!!

Me too October applicant here... I wanna visit my family next year... And yes, I want to have a different job. I have have open WP though, but I don't wanna leave my employer because they might ask for another documents, because 2 weeks ago they requested my background declaration form

I got my notes today.
The latest note says: No apparent A35/A37 concerns evident.
Found in July 2015 topic:
"I have researched and A35/A37 is about security. Basically that you dont belong to any criminal organization, terrorism and that you haven't committed crimes againts humanity."

Today I wrote to my local MP for assistance with my case.
Any idea how much time it takes before they get back to me?

Also still disappointed at slow processing system and lack of organisation with PR processing.
Some October applicants are apparently getting PPR already, yet July is not fully done yet, and not even single person from Month of August received PPR.

We have to stay strong. ..........

Two people from August got PPR a few months ago but it's been silent since then. :/

Ok replying to my own post.
Earlier today I got call from MP office saying that they will forward me authorisation form that I need to sign after which they will be able to find out info in my case.
Form has been signed and emailed back, now waiting for some news.

Also annoying thing is that when I was extending my work permit at the border - CBS officer gave me only 1 year visa (instead of 2 year one) saying that I will for sure get my PR before 1 year passes.

Now we are getting close to its expiry (Dec 20) and it looks like I will need to spent money on another visa + my employer on compliance fee.

What a life.

Do you have employment restrictions on your nomination??
if not than you can apply for a BOWP

My MP contact cic last week I am august 7th applicant.
Mp said everything is passed and supposed by Dec 7 when 16 months reached file will be open for final review.

this most be a joke!!!

but well keep waiting....i still think this is gonna be our best early xmas gift ever!

and abt your work permit I guess u can re apply to renew it, dont take the risk as with cic we never know!

Yes I unfortunately do have work restriction, hence I'm not eligible for BOWP.
I will wait till Dec 10th, if nothing does come through I will have my employer to pay Employer Compliance fee, fill online form, and head to border to flagpole and renew work permit.
It's shame to spend 400 $ knowing that your PR is just round the corner. .... Sigh
