That means to say Security check is Passed looking for those se code if its no A35 /A37 means passed..
Yes. Pls look for officers notes at the very last page of GCMS.
You can see a clear summary of your application in those notes.
And they keep updating it every time when something progress in our application.

thank you!
good to know for when i get my new notes
Personally I feel so relaxed now as application has progressed to PACE.
At least I know all stuffs are completed and waiting final review and ppr.

I feel like Background checks don't really need long time to get completed.
I think it's mostly just putting your name and dependants name in Canadian and US data base and make a quick run. And if they didn't get any information you are clear.
Same time if you have lived in different countries and or visited few terror listed countries or places
Then they would run a security check in those countries data base which would be shared with CBS.

My background checks changed into in process on Oct 14 2016 and security cleared on Oct 15th.
So literally just 1 day.
Criminality checks are done way before medical request sent.

Pls correct me if I am wrong.
All these are just assumptions.
Could be wrong.

For my understanding thats how they check security etc but the question is...
why if processing security is that fast it is taking a long time to get ppr??

I mean if they checked before the file and everything has been passed and clear without any issue...final review should also be 1 day and ask ppr?

but instead seems they take a while since they start security to the point of ask ppr.

our time will come soon anyway, nobody else but life knows when is the time to each of us :D

That is certainly a very good question.
I have no idea why they have to wait longer in order to sent ppr once security and other criterias are passed.

But same time, For me it took 3 months to get AOR.
Another question can be why they need 3 months to put a file number and do a completeness check.

It took another 6 months to get Med Request.
In fact again that's a long gap there.

And it took another 3.5 months to get Background checks in process notification.

After all, these cic process show us that it is a timely process. And no question why you need that much time.

((( we should also think that cic was successful in processing pr in 5-6 months for express entry applicants. And they have to go through the same security checks and assessments. So if they want they can finish it quickly as well)))

The fact that Express entry enters information in electronic form makes it easier to compare it with their database so some checks are really done by software bots.

But the main driving force of EE being so quick is manpower. Its the governments high profile policy and it needs to be done right, and so all the money goes there.

After all we are treated bad as if we are taking left overs.
Finally need a conclusion soon for this long process
Good luck all

CIC had explicitly noted that speeding up PNP process is in their plans, so I don't know if that means to expand PNP-EE stream and reduce paper PNP workloads or what. They have had workload redistribution for PNP people to utilize their manpower but it doesn't seem to make a difference

I knooooow, the aprox time that cic gives or say usualy never match.
nobody knows how they actually work.

Sometimes I think I might study- certify or whatever takes to became an officer..I mean get certifications etc and get Canadian citizenship and put all my effort to became immigration officer just to know how it works and all the misteries we will never know from cic! ;D

hahahahaha :P

hello,

once we get PR, how much time it takes for spouse to get it ? If she lives in India.
In CIC, current processing time who are living outside of canada is 18 months
Is it going to be that long even for dependent PR ? :o :o :o

Thanks
